A fourth team has been confirmed for the 2022 S8FL inaugural season. The Sanford Tomahawks will be joining the S8FL this Summer as a member of the South division. The Tomahawks are a new team with a talented young roster looking to make their mark in a new league. Welcome to S8FL Sanford Tomahawks!

We like to award great competitors, and the best way to do that is with a trophy. So we will be giving out trophies for your accomplishments from the regular season and trophies for the league Champions. The regular season trophies will include League MVP, Offense MVP & Defense MVP. Other trophies will be awarded for 'best of the year' at these positions: QB,HB,WR,OL,DL,LB,DB & Coach. The Championship trophy will be awarded to the winning team of Summer Bowl I & the Offense MVP & Defense MVP of the Championship game. Championship trophies will be handed out after the game (8/20/22), and the regular season trophies will be handed out at the award ceremony, after the All-star game a week later (8/27/22).

The S8FL is proud to announce there is now 3 confirmed teams for the inaugural season, beginning June 11, 2022. The Blue Water State Sharks, Central Florida Centurions and Volusia Vipers have all been confirmed. The Sharks, Spartans and the Vipers will be filling out the North division. All 3 teams are switching from another 8-man football league (EXFL) for a fresh start with a new home. All 3 teams also have rivalries between each other already, and look to have some great match-ups this Summer. Welcome to the S8FL! Get ready for a football fueled Summer!
